Musical Memories - Teresa
Child Teresa - Sound of Music
I have memories of listening to the album on the high-fi with Paulie. “Doe a Deer” was MY song
Tween Teresa - David Cassidy “I think I love you!”
Someone gave me the 45 for Christmas. I repeatedly played it on the high-fi so much that Dad kindly asked me to give it a rest.

Each album was a response to my life - happy, sad, troubled, or attempted a persona - cool, sexy
Married Life - Young Mother -RADIO
It played in my kitchen all the time. TV wasn’t the background noise - music was!

Random thoughts …
Stereo: remember putting a penny on top of the needle
How about the Columbia Record Club - Trouble!!!
Wasn’t it fun to READ the album - it felt like the secret was discovered - the WORDS. I also remember buying albums based upon the POPULAR or hit song and then discovering that I really did not like most of the other songs. And sometimes that flipped!!!
I wish that I had a more intimate connection to music. I certainly gravitate to the lyrics and the melody and don’t recognize or appreciate the combinations of instruments and basically the construction of a song - album.
Thanks David and Nancy
