The Happy Birthday Text Stream

If you haven’t read this book, it is fun. Malcolm Gladwell’s book THE TIPPING POINT examines how trends take off. He describes it as “that magic moment when an idea, trend or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips and spreads like wildfire.”

I don’t know when this started but a tipping point trend has organically sparked with the Ringwood ten. It is the birthday morning text message stream complete with photos and well wishes. This special something, that happended so naturally, has become an anticipated moment for the birthday recipient.

This is just one more reminder … boy are we lucky!
