JACK

JACK

Jack was like Patty.  He entertained himself.  He could sit down and play with building blocks.  He was a focused little boy. Never a risk taker, but one day he wasn’t around and I went around calling and calling.  There was a huge pine tree in the back and I said “Jack, where are you?” and he said, “I'm up here.” He was way up at the top.  I said, “Oh, come on down.” So, slowly, slowly he came down. He’s always been afraid of heights and I don’t know how he got up there, but maybe that’s what did it, because now he can't stand heights.  Jack is a sold citizen.
