PETER

PETER

There was a big gap between David and Peter.  All the other kids were so close together, but there are four years between David and Peter.  That was like an eternity. I was thrilled to be having another baby. I felt good during that pregnancy.  It was during the holidays. My sister was in the antique business and she gave me an old fashioned wooden cradle for a Christmas gift.  I still have it. I’ve never been able to talk my children into using it for their children. When Peter was born he was put right in that cradle when he came home.  It was set in the dining room. Everybody could walk in and look at him, but he slept through it all.

He was such a nice boy.  When he went to school he would just wave and wave, backing down the street waving and waving.  He was good to his brother Bob. They too were a team.
