YouTube Interview: Colin, Abby & Sean

In a world of pandemic panic and civil unrest, happiness wants to creep forward and take the lead. And so … a new RFT blog.

If anything, I hope that this website provides a glimpse into a collective memory and serves as a perspective for future generations. Today - I choose to think of and celebrate, the future! A truth … Joan and Paul, 10 Ringwood children, 30 grandchildren and 15 + 2-in-forming great grandchildren. And yet, today I am thinking about both Patrick Thomas and Abby Ringwood ...the second oldest Ringwood grandchild and the second youngest Ringwood grandchild and THAT is a perspective that I have never considered until today. Happy Birthday to Abby and Patrick!

The RFT began with the intent to reflect upon “what it means to be Ringwood” and I think it has been explored in interesting ways. I wanted to take a bit of a bend in the writing and focus on the Bob Ringwood children and so they agreed to an interview. It was held on my back porch. We were all sensitive to social distancing but nothing took away from the fun of sharing a bit of time with three special souls. Questions were forwarded to Colin, Abby and Sean ahead of time but they were quickly revised when I learned that they were nervous about question #4 Do you know the names of all your Ringwood cousins?
