IT'S A DOG'S WORLD

“A miserably unhappy existence as in … He’s been leading a dog’s life since his wife left him.” This expression was first recorded in a 16th century manuscript and describes the existence of dogs during the time.

Then there was Bigsy … Lassie … and Snoopy … Prince and Irish … and the attitude certainly changed. I fondly remember the episode of LASSIE COME HOME when we sat around the TV on Steele St and all cried when he galloped over the hill, safe and sound! Lassie was found! Our dog … the world’s dog … was found!

And then … there was a the pandemic of 2020 and everything changed … even for the DOGS! Our social distancing has become their social playground. I’m sure you would agree that they’re getting more cuddle time and exercise than ever before.

Well … a while back Teresa and I were talking about her latest RFT idea of including a blog dedicated to the many dogs that the Ringwood family has acquired and loved over the years. Jokingly she said that I should take it over since the Sheridan family presently has the most dogs. So I agreed and will start with our dogs. What I’d like to do is periodically reach out to one family at a time and ask for photos (of course) and a little bit of trivia. This will be fun.
