Nancy:  Citizen - Loan Executive

The above picture was in last week’s CITIZEN.  Nancy has done an outstanding job for the United Way and really made her mark in Auburn.  I’ve always known she's great but it is nice to know that others recognize it too.

Mary’s picture hasn’t been in the paper yet but I will surely have it for issue 11.  And now on to the next big event - baby Hoercher. Isn’t it wonderful to have so many happy events to celebrate?  It has been a quiet week for me except for work. I have been a good girls and stayed home very night except for a walk after dinner - boring!  But I have caught up on lots of paperwork at home incluing the Ringwood REview. I’ve een cooled off the phone calls. Last month was a disaster.

NEW CHRISTMAS PLANS

My new plan for Christmas gift giving is a follows:  the first week in December I am going to send a check to each of the grandchildren to their parents.  I’ve thought about this very carefully and although I don’t every want Christmas to be reduced to an exchange of money, then the parents may choose what all the the children need or want - proper sizes and no duplications. Or maybe some of the children just need a little board for their bank accounts.  how does that sound? I am not even going to ask for suggestions - just buy whatever I want, OK?

THE TEND OF THE TEENS

Tomorrow night we will celebrate Bob’s 19th birthday.  Sarah Lent will be his special guest. Tom, Marguerite, Tommy, Erin, David Mary and I will help him to celebrate  - a little late but weekends are always best. He really appreciated all of the calls and cards. Patty is coming from Rochester tomorrow too.  We are all going to a shower for Mary Checco’s baby who will arrive soon.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

The reservations are in for Thanksgiving at 124 Owasco St.  The Sheridans will be here - also Paul, Pete and Bob. I send all my love to everyone on Thanksgiving.  It is a year to be very grateful - a new baby girl, two new lovely daughter-in-laws, the news of a new baby and especially good health.

ON A SAD NOTE

Ceecy’s grandmother passed away this week.  Pauly called last night . He feels forgotten by his brothers and sisters.

God bless you all,

Mom
