HOUSE HUNTING

Please don’t think I have disappeared from the face of the earth but house selling and house hunting has consumed much of every weekend.  At this point I have been encouraged that there will be no problem on the financing for the sale of my house. And I think I have found the right house for us.  It a 2 bedroom ranch on Belle Ave which is the last street off Lake Ave before the high school. It’s off the opposite side of Lake ave from Nancy - the same street as Viscardi’s house, Paul.  There is a nice kitchen that opens to a large eacher area (could be a combination tv and eating area) nice living room, 2 good size bedrooms, bath and ½, finished room in the basement, attached garage and a lovely yard with a patio in the back.  I am going to look at it again and unless something better appears I will probably make an offer this weekend. It is white with gold shutters - vinyl maintenance free - yes I can picture us there now and I can picture me there after Pete and Bob are firmly established.  Sp please say a prayer that this is right and that I don't make any big mistakes. I will keep everyone informed.

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING

Valentine's Day was just wonderful.  Thank you all for the cards and flowers and candy. You really make me feel loved. The nicest Valentines’ story I heard was that Ceecy sent Uncle Ed a valentine and Jack sent on to Aunt Marge. It meant so mcy to them.  Yes, Uncle Ed is still in the hospital and no idea when he will be discharged. My long distance phone calls have been directed their way. Pete was home on Winter Break - left his car at home and seemed to have a good break,  Pete, you’re always such a pleasure to have around, How was your trip back? Your car is good. Bob has started it for you. On the 15th Nancy, Patrick and Kelly came for dinner - also Mary and David. That was fun. Last Tues. Patty and the boys came for an overnight.  Patty looks great. The boys are really a pleasure to have visit. Wednesday I played bridge and on Thursday Bob took me to see the Syracuse - Providence basketball game. Now wasn’t that nice? I have been dying to see a basketball game at the dome. On Sat., Teresa Bill and Emily came.  Teresa and I went to the Syracuse Symphony. (How does that sound Ceecy?) I was pretty tired and promptly fell asleep through the whole thing. On Sunday after we watched the Syracuse - Georgetown game Tom, Marguerite and the children came for dinner with the Hoerchers and myself and that was fun too. Congratulations Jack on the Georgetown win.

ANOTHER BIT OF SAD NEWS

Aunt Marge's mother, Peg Hoffman, died last week.  If you could, I know she would appreciate a card or a note.  I know how much it meant to me when Bernie died. It still doesn’t seem possible that Bernie is gone.

BABY NEWS

Mike and Marilyn are waiting patiently for news of the new baby.  It should be soon and I know they’re anxious. Mike is helping me with the details of the house purchase.

I LOVE YOU ALL!
