106 MARY STREET - HERE WE COME!

I wish that I had a picture of the new house but since I don’t, try to picture in your ninds until we’re there.  The moving day is scheduled for May 23rd and I will be awfully glad when I am settled in. It’s all preoccupied my mind long enough.  I’m ready to play golf and do other things now.

NEWS IN A NUTSHELL

Bob - is in Watertown playing golf with the college team.  He’ll be home tomorrow.

Nancy - cam yesterday to help with packing and Teresa came today.  I enjoyed the companionship as much as the help. It was great. Paul started his new job this week.  He called tonight and seems really enthusiastic. Talked with David yesterday. He’s playing lots of golf already and Mary likes her new job.  Pet finished school on Thursday. He’s been exempt from two exams so he’s had a really good year. He’s hoping for a job with Miller Bottling this summer.  I am going to Patty and David’s for Mother Day. Jack is down to the nitty -gritty before graduations. He’s had some job offers. He an Ceecy are planning to come to Auburn for the move.  Tom stopped by today. He and Marguerite are busy repairing their lawn where the septic tank was replaced. Mike and Marilyn have sold their house , bought another and are waiting for the news abt day of the new baby’s arrival.  Thank you Nancy, Mike, Patty, Tom and Teresa for the help you’ve given me on the packing, etc. I really appreciate it. Remember if you haven’t written your lists yet, I am anxious to know what you want.

Uncle Ed Oberrright is finally home from the hospital after three months.  He’s doing niceling - driving the car again. Mary and Ted Cawlicki go to NYC tomorrow to received their new daughter, Emily Margaret.  Helly said that Mary is really frightened. It will be a big change in their lives. My vacation was a big bust. I ended up in bed for three days.  I don’t know, maybe it makes me sick to stay home. But I did go to Syracuse shopping one day with Suye Baird. It was her first outing since Bunk died and I think it was good for her.  Patty, she really appreciated your calligraphy and has it frame don her mantle.

Goodnight everyone.
