WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING

There was a lot of enthusiasm for the Syracuse-Notre Dame yesterday.  Tom and Marguerite went with Nancy and Sam. Bob went with David Sheridan.  They were quite a pair. Bob was all decked out in a Notre Dame shirt and hat and David Sheridan who is no a Notre Dame fant they they had a good time.  Patty and David have survived their flooding. Their family room has been put back together and they seem to have kept their sense of humor in spite of it all.  I talked with Paul this week. He’s going to visit Jack next week in Philadelphia to see the Georgetown- Villanova game. I ‘ve also secured the rooms at the Ramada Inn in Saddle River for Jack’s wedding.  Since the rehearsal dinner will be held there the rooms will have a reduced rate. Teresa spent last Sunday with Emily visiting me. We had such a good time! Thank you Teresa. Mike has been sending me literature on humposis .  That’s my next step in the war “War on Nicotine.” I’ll keep you informed. Dave had a winter reunion of his LeMoyne friends this weekend. Some of his were staying at his apartment in Syracuse for the weekend. As you can see from the front page Pere received proper recognition for a great first semester.  I talked with him today and said classes have really heated up this semester. Tuesday night is Auburn HIgh’s last home game and the end of an era for me, They They had a good year and are are tied for first place in their league. It's been frustrating for Bob but I really admire his “sticking with it.”  Last night I had a dinner party: the Scherrers, Lamberts and Smiths. Were were celebrating Debby’s, Rosemary’s and Clare’s bdays. It was fun and I really enjoyed having them. Today Ted and Nelle Graney stopped in for a visit. It was so good to see them. Their son Mike to going to be married August 9th in Springfield but their planning to go to Jack’s wedding.

My goodness, it's 4:30 already.  They day has disappeared quickly.  Bernie seems to be better. She has some new medication that has controlled her breathing problems.  Last - for those who are interested I have NOT been socializing with any gentlemen lately.

God bless you all - keep in touch!

Loads of Love,

Mom
