HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Nancy, Marilyn, Patty, Marguerite, Teresa have a wonderful Mother’s Day.  You are all wonderful mothers! And thank you for providing me with wonderful grandchildren.

PATTY’S 10TH REUNION

Patty just called.  She and David spent a lot of time this past weekend at her 10th Nazareth Class Reunion.  She sounded really happy, of course. A week ago she visited me with the boys. We had a great visit but it's never long enough.  Helly and Bob came for dinner that weekend so it was a good opportunity for Patty and Helly to chat a bit. Mike and Marilyn had a garage sale the same weekend.  Thee were very pleased - made a $120 on it. Mike and David played gold today in Syracuse. I had dinner with Tom, Marguerite and Tommy on Thursday - Bob too. He didn’t have to work because it was so cold last week.  Marguerite looks great and she’s so peppy. It’s lovely looking at the view of the lake from their house. It looks as if everything is all set for Ceecy’s shower. I talked with Jack today. He’s into finals - still nothing definite on a job for the summer.  Next weekend the Acaster are having a party to introduce Jack to their friends and Paul is invited - isn’t that nice? Pete will be home Friday for two whole weeks before he begins summer classes. How do you like Mary’s picture? She and her Mom and Dad came last night for dinner.  All the October plans are coming along nicely. Nancy and Sam are busy getting ready for their move on the 17th. Nancy and the kids came for pizza hefe on Friday. Now all of this news is very positive. But on the down side is Bernie’s status. She’s really not good and I think you all should be aware it would go either way.  I don’t mean to be an alarmist but you know - she’s just not trying. I walked to Teresa too. She are Bill just about finished their most recent house project. Now maybe they can take it easy for a while.

RECENT AUBURN NEWS

The church down the street (across from Hogan’s old store) burned to the ground on Sunday.  Apparently the gas station next store sold them gasoline instead of kerosene for their space heaters and there was an explosion.  No one was seriously injured. Remember, Teresa, the churchgoers used to patronize Hogans on Sunday afternoons?
